My endurance journey didn’t begin in my youth. It began at 44, with a hesitant 5 km run. Soon after, I was diagnosed with bilateral stress fractures. It would have been easy to quit. Instead, it became my first real lesson in patience, humility, and rebuilding from zero.
That experience shaped me far more than any finish line ever could.
